Acceptable Use Policy

This document forms an integral part of NashirNet's approved Terms and Conditions and must be interpreted and applied together with them. Together, they form the legal and regulatory framework governing the relationship between the Company and the Customer.

Using the website, creating an Account, requesting or using any Service, or continuing to use it constitutes an acknowledgment that you have read and understood this document and expressly and bindingly agree to all of its provisions.

If there is any conflict between the provisions of this document and the Terms and Conditions, the general Terms and Conditions shall prevail, unless the conflict relates to a matter specifically governed by this document. In that case, the provisions of this document shall prevail only in relation to that matter.

This Policy defines the standards and controls for the acceptable use of NashirNet's Services, protects the infrastructure, network, and Customers, ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and prevents any use that may damage or misuse the Services.


Scope of Application:

This Policy applies to all Services provided by NashirNet, including, without limitation, Cloud Servers, Dedicated Servers, Colocation Services, Backup Services, and any additional or related Services.


Acceptable Use Principle:

The Customer must use NashirNet's Services lawfully and responsibly and in accordance with:

  • The applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • NashirNet's approved Terms and Conditions and policies.
  • Generally accepted technical and security best practices.
  • The Customer bears full responsibility for all activities carried out through its Services or Account.

Prohibited Uses:

The use of NashirNet's Services for any activity including, without limitation, the following is prohibited:

  1. Unlawful Activities or Activities That Violate Applicable Laws and Regulations:
    • Any activity that violates applicable laws and regulations, public order, or public morals.
    • Hosting or distributing unlawful, prohibited, or unauthorized content or content that violates religious or social values.
    • Infringing intellectual property rights, copyrights, or trademarks.
  2. Harmful Security Activities:
    • Carrying out or attempting to carry out cyberattacks in any form, such as DDoS attacks, brute-force attacks, or port scanning.
    • Hosting or operating malware, viruses, spyware, or hacking tools.
    • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the systems, networks, or data of others.
  3. Network or Resource Abuse:
    • Abnormal or excessive use of resources in a manner that affects network stability or the Services of other Customers.
    • Operating Services or applications that cause excessive load or unreasonable pressure on the infrastructure.
    • Exceeding allocated resource limits without an official upgrade or approved authorization.
  4. Email and Unsolicited Messages:
    • Sending spam or operating servers or applications intended for that purpose.
    • Using IP addresses or Services for unlawful or unauthorized email campaigns.
  5. Anonymity or Circumvention Services:
    • Operating or hosting public VPN networks, TOR exit nodes, or public proxies.
    • Using any tools intended to conceal identity or circumvent systems or laws.
  6. High-Risk Content and Services:
    • Fraudulent, phishing, or impersonation websites.
    • Gambling or lottery websites or fraudulent investment activities.
    • Cryptocurrency mining or operating resource-intensive systems without express approval.

Customer Responsibility:

The Customer must:

  • Monitor the activities, Services, and applications it operates or uses within its Service.
  • Secure its systems and applications and prevent their misuse by any party.
  • Fully cooperate with NashirNet's team when investigating any non-compliant activity.
  • Take corrective action immediately upon being notified of a violation.

Actions by NashirNet in the Event of a Violation:

If any use that violates this Policy is detected, NashirNet reserves the right to take any of the following actions at its professional discretion and without prior notice where necessary:

  • Temporarily or partially suspend the Service.
  • Restrict access to or isolate the Service causing the violation.
  • Permanently terminate the Service.
  • Take any necessary legal action where appropriate.

NashirNet shall have no obligation to compensate the Customer for any direct or indirect damage resulting from any of these actions.


Reporting Abuse:

NashirNet encourages the reporting of any prohibited use or suspicious activity through its approved reporting channels. Reports are handled confidentially in accordance with the approved policies.


Amendments to the Policy:

NashirNet reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at any time. The updated version becomes effective from the date it is published on the website. Continued use of the Services after publication constitutes express acceptance of the amendments.
